Yes, with most short hairstyles there are multiple different looks you can try out.  A buzz cut or seriously short haircut offers fewer options, but slightly longer short hair can be straightened, curled, slicked back, texturised, or even given a cool quiff!

Yes, the good news is that 72 Hair Keratin Smoothing Gel can be applied to hair that has undergone any type of chemical treatment including straightening procedures .  Speak to your Segais stylist who will select the most appropriate 72 Hair product for your hair type.

We recommend applying the colour before your smoothing treatment, so it can help to lock the colour in.  The keratin treatment will enhance the vibrancy of your colour.

If you can't colour your hair before your treatment, we recommend waiting at least 7 days after treatment before your colour appointment.

The smoothing treatment is designed to work with your hair's natural texture so the result depends on your hair type. If you have unruly, frizzy hair, you will see a massive reduction in frizz and curls. If your hair is naturally straight, it will appear shinier and smoother. All hair types will gain strength and be more manageable.

We stock 72 Hair shampoos and conditioners which are designed to maximise the life of your smoothing treatment.  Speak to your Segais stylist who will be able to advise you on aftercare.

We recommend that you do not wash your hair for the first 72 hours after the treatment. However if you have curly hair and want to keep more of the curl then wash your hair after 24 hours, but this may reduce the longevity of the results.

For the first 72 hours after your smoothing treatment we recommend the following:

• Do not get your hair wet (in the shower, pool or sea).  If your hair does get wet during this time, restraighten it using titanium coated straighteners.
• Do not use any hair care products, including hair spray, gel and mousse.
• Do not tie up your hair.

Absolutely!  The sunshine will show off the glossy shine on your perfect hair!   We do however recommend using a UV protector for your hair.  Speak to your Segais stylist about the best product to use.

We usually recommend a course of 8 treatments, but we will talk this through with you following your initial consultation and once we have assessed your particular skin concerns. People with acne or acne scarring might need more treatments and we recommend a monthly maintenance treatment after each course has finished to help maintain the results achieved.

You will see results immediately and with each subsequent treatment your skin will continue to look progressively better.

Crystal microdermabrasion uses a sterile compound which has no risk of allergic reaction.  We will however carry out a patch test on the back of your forearm for added reassurance.

We usually recommend a course of treatments every 7 to 10 days but we will discuss this with you at your initial consultation.

No downtime is required as this is a gentle treatment.  You will however have to be careful to wear a SPF after treatment to protect your skin.
